Hello my good friends. How are you holding up with the holiday stress. Only 15 days left until Christmas. I have just invited all of my siblings to come celebrate the first day of Christmas at my place. but I have conveniently decided not to stress out over it. We will have diner, buffet style and everyone will contribute something so I am sure it will be a blast and no reason to freak out over it.
I am still working on some more Christmas decorations. The more things I make the more ideas I seem to be getting. What do you think is the best time to quit making ornaments? Now? The 24th? In January? Ever?
Anyway, since Beth from The Stories of A to Z is having an impromptu ‘outdoor decorations’ Christmas party, I thought now is as good a time as ever to show you what I did to my Fall Pinecone wreath.
It is all glammed up for Christmas. Took me 30 min. tops. I like those kind of makeovers.
I sprayed the wreath with some silver shiny spray paint. Tied some fabric from my stash around it along with some silver beads and called it a day.
If you look carefully you can see the fish wire I used to reinforce the hanging part. The duck tape I usually use was only barely keeping this heavy baby up. And after several people suggesting door hangers I went looking for one. But as is turns out I can’t use those because they are made for doors that are flat on top and my door isn’t. So I had to come up with something else.
I like the silver sparkle on my nature wreath. Adds just the right amount of Holiday bling bling.
Here is the before and after side by side.
So are you still crafting and decorating or are you all done?
BTW I wasn’t so happy with my pictures of my Christmas tree. So I will be taking some new ones. I am studying the theory behind taking decent pictures of a Christmas tree. Will let you know what I find.

SUPER MOOI!!
LIEVE GROET,
MIRANDA
Wow! I liked the wreath before, but the after is just PERFECT! The right touch of 'glam'. Visting from A2Z porch party.
Fijn weekend.
Lieve groet, Mea
Hi Marianne…bellissima questa ghirlanda natalizia!!! Molto elegante e suggestiva!
Un caro saluto, *Maristella*.
I love it when such a simple idea can simply transform a project! It's beautiful!!!!
Love the makeover! The colors are so up to date and glamorous! Very nice job.
Very pretty. I love easy makeover like that.
Hele lieve groetjes – Irma
That is soooo pretty! I'm just beginning my decorating for the holidays. We just got a lot of snow and it has put me in the Christmas mood at last. I'll be decking the halls this weekend. Wish me luck!
How pretty! I love the silver in place of red and green!

Very pretty! Simple changes made it into a totally different wreath. I'd love to hear what you find out about taking pictures of your Christmas tree. I didn't like mine either.
That wreath is gorgeous!
