Christmas Wreath ~ 12 Days of Christmas Decorations / Day 3

Here we go again…

Or should I say, here she is again…..

My beloved twig wreath is making an appearance again. Although this time her reappearance involved a little bit more than new clothes and a bit of makeup. This time she got the full makeover treatment, Botox and all.

Fab as she was, I had to admit that my homemade twig wreath was beginning to look a bit bare and dated. she was definitely showing the signs of her age.

So I gave her a new hairstyle with extensions, meaning that I added a new bunch of twigs to her base.

Then she got a color treatment.

I used white spray primer as a basecoat and highlighted that with snow spray.

She was looking twenty years younger instantly. What a bit of lift can do for a wreath….

But no makeover is complete with without finishing touches like a bit or rouge and some sparkly accessories.

I think this old girl is ready for her second youth.

Are you tired of her yet? I’m not, I have fallen in love with her all over again….

Oh and I guess by now you can guess what my Christmas theme is going to be this year: lots of natural elements, white and red, a bit of bling, and homemade all the way. Oh, and free, repurposed, easy and relaxed too. My kind of Christmas.
