Hi everybody. Remember my birdfeed chandelier? It looked good didn’t it.
Well it works too!
The little birdies have discovered there new feeding ground and they are loving it.
After trying for days now I was finally able to catch some little ones with my camera as they were having their supper.
I had to sit in the back of my living room with the telephoto lens on my camera to catch them in the act (skittish bunch they are) but I managed to get some good pictures (although pretty miserable quality, the fact that I haven’t washed my windows didn’t help either).
As you can see sparrows and great tits and blue tits all mingle , and usually a blackbird is close by too.
I have removed the red candles and the faux berries garland, the birds weren’t interested, instead I now fill all the little dishes with seed.
I think 7 birds at one time on the chandelier is the record so far, and that does not include another five on the ground picking up the cast offs from above.
I think I can now truly say. Project successful, mission accomplished.
Happy weekend, cu Sunday evening!
Love,

So nice! Birds are so cute!:)
Enjoy your weekend:)

What a great idea! I love the chandelier!

Now that is one of the cutest things I've seen in a long time! Little birds are visiting in style! Nice!
Seeing this makes me smile, Marianne!!! It's outdoor decor and it's "for the birds"! Such a clever woman, you are!!!

That is so wonderful! You got some great shots too. I wish I could hang that outside here but we have some crazy squirrels. They'd be all over it and there would be nothing left for the birds!
Oh, it's perfect!! What a nice idea! I can see the birds are feeling like they are on a real fancy restaurant now! Thanks for the reminder on feeding the birds! There is no snow here yet but I guess the birds needs extra food anyway. /Therese
This is fantastic, so pretty, like a formal party for the birds! Visiting from your Feature over at FJI, gotta Love Her!
