You really can’t buy happiness, but indulging now and then can do wonders for your mood….
Like taking advantage of the end of summer sales and indulging in a little retail therapy…..
Buying yourself a new pair of shoes……
Dressing up in said shoes and a new shirt and going on a date night with the Love of your life….
Conquering the summer heat with an ice cream cone….
Taking images of vintage cars and dream of romantic getaways…..
Receiving flowers from the one you love in your favorite color and one day too early because the surprise is bigger that way……
Eating leftover birthday pie for breakfast…..
Happiness can be found in all things big and small….
Where did you find happiness lately?

Why, you are looking mighty svelte these days, Marianne!
Brenda
Well thank you! I had to look up waht svelte means but I think I can take it as a big compliment. Allthough I have been eating a lot of birthday cake (all gone now) these last few days so I might be a bit less svelte now.
Happy Belated Birthday, Marianne!

Thank you!!
True. Money can’t buy you happiness.
But…
Giving a vintage teapot to a friend, who happens to love vintage teapots, and seeing the smile on her face, is all that I needed to make my day happier.
It’s true that giving is much better than receiving.
Belated Happy Birthday, Marianne. You look chic and happy in your white and blue outfit. And those shoes are so pretty. I love that blue colour.
What’s making me happy is being on vacation with my beloved. We’re visiting his family, and then heading to the Rockies for a few days of hiking. I’m liking being out of my regular routine.
Gefeliciteerd met je verjaardag! Nog bedankt voor je reactie op mijn vraag (per mail). Ik “zit” nu bij Bluehost.
groetjes,
Marianne.
PS Gelukkig is het morgen weer wat koeler.
