Words are magic, words have power, words can heal and words can lift you up.
I ♥ words
That’s why I have surrounded myself with words in my craft room. There are encouraging, inspiring and motivational words all around me when I work and play in this room.
Sometimes just one word is enough……
Have courage, take courage, don’t worry all will be all right. Take a chance, make a change.
Act courageous and you’ll feel the courage.
A house is just stones, a home is where the love lives. I’ve found you, I’ve come home. The world is a safe place as long as I am in your arms. With you in my life I am never alone.
Anti-procrastination medicine….
Words to live be, words to remind myself, words to kick my butt, words to help me stop thinking and start doing…..
Words that other people have gathered and that I try to read at least once every day, because I need them:
It’s my life and I got to live it. Every day, all day, with every fiber….
Live your dream and share your passion and start creating…
And have fun!!!!
Enjoy yourself, create, express yourself, sing, dance, laugh, love, play, play hard, play often….
And this one is for all of you….
So what words help you through the day? What is your favorite quote? Do you have a word of the year? Let’s talk words…….

One of my favorite quotes is: A beautiful thing is never perfect. This is a great quote to remember when my perfectionist tendencies paralyze the creative process.
Wow that is a beautiful quote! I need to remind myself of that too. Thank you!!!
I saw some words I really liked on Pinterest recently. “I just want to make beautiful things even if nobody cares.”
Oh good one! Love that especially in a craft room. Might have to find a place for that one.
Just lovely Marianne,
What an uplifting room…and post!
I love the extended version of one of the quotes on your wall.. ‘Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday!’
Have an awesome week.

Ah that is a good alteration of my quote.
Hmm, I think I emailed you about a certain package I want to send your way. You’d better email me back quick!
Lovely post, Marianne. I find such inspiration in words too. Love your anti-procrastination bunch especially.
A few favorite quotes:
“I’m going to make everything around me beautiful – that will be my life.” – Elsie de Wolfe
(I don’t interpret it as just the aesthetic stuff either.)
“It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see.” Henry David Thoreau
“Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.” William Morris
“Figure out who you are, then do it on purpose.”
“Get on your knees and pray, than get on your feet and work.”
“You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one.”
“When in doubt, choose the kids. You’ll have plenty of time later to choose work.” – Anna Quindlen
I could go on & on, but that’s a nice sampling. hehe
“I like you a latte” too.

Oh I love these! Especially the one about praying on your knees and working on your feet.
This is great I love all the new quotes.
“Home is not where you live, but where they understand you.”
Love the anti-procrastination bundle, any chance of seeing that in your etsy shop sometime?
Hmmm, I hadn’t even thought about that. I’ll give it some thought, it might be a good idea, since there are so many fellow procrastinators out there.
