Looking for ideas on how to decorate with glass bottles? You will love this blue bottle decor that is so easy to put together. This bottle decorating idea features blue glass bottles with coastal decor flair.
Decorating with glass bottles to create a little blue bottle beach decor. I was saving some blue bottles without knowing why, but today I found a use for that water, wine, and beer bottle and created a little coastal display with them. I hope my simple and easy blue bottles beach decor inspires you for your coastal summer decor. I am quite happy with it, that’s for sure.
There is something special about the blue glass I think. The coolness of the color and the material go well together. And blue glass decor is just perfect for a little beach cottage decor. When your glass bottles have such a striking color, just grouping them together is making a statement in itself.
I have had these blue glass bottles forever. They have been in my ‘ let’s give that to the thrift store pile’ numerous times, but I always took them back out again. Now I know why. By accident three of my decorative bottles are cobalt blue glass bottles. Since those bottles are in the same color tone, they naturally go great together. But I think that that little blue glass wasp catcher (yes that is what that is ?) matches up perfectly. Blue is a forgiving color, most blues make great harmony together.

I think decorating with glass bottles is just perfect for summer. Remember my little hanging bottles decor, that is still an all-time favorite. But sometimes you don’t have time for crafting and you just want a simple display for summer. Using recycled wine and beer bottles makes this summer decor super easy.
Especially when you can create a little blue bottle decor. I love the freshness, the vividness of the color and the cool it brings in this hot summer. Do you see how easy it is to decorate with glass bottles? Using glass bottles for decoration is frugal and rather cheap but also very rewarding and pretty.
Pairing the glass bottles up with wicker and twine, sprinkling some sea stars in and adding a little candle makes for a lovely coastal decoration. Grouped together they bring memories of the beach and the sea into my home.
Just a couple of white flowers and this vignette is done! It never has been this easy.
Blue glass bottles, I love you!

My blog is mostly about our travel adventures and taking photos, but I plan to do more posts on the little shops and flea markets etc. Will give you the heads up when I post one in particular.
I'm adding your blog to my RSS "Deco/Home Inspiration" feeds!
Take care!

I'm HERE! It does seem very quiet in the blog world. I'm not posting alot myself b/c of work. I count on others to post cool stuff, so thanks! I love your blue bottles…the sea shells and wicker with the little flowers are just perfect. I love the color against your white walls.

I love your vignette! I have always been addicted to cobalt and have acquired quite a collection of blue bottles and Blue Willow. Until I moved into my current home, my homes have always been blue and white. I still have a hard time resisting cobalt so if you ever want to add yours to the thrift store pile, just let me know and I would be happy to take them off your hands!
I have noticed how quiet it has been but I think it is because it is summertime and a lot of people are taking vacations.
Have a wonderful weekend!

LOL Marianne! Blame it on the sunshine and school being out. I'll be one of them by 4pm tonite.
Your blue bottle vignette is gorgeous! You have a wonderful style. I'd just love to tour your entire home taking my time to study each and every object and it's placement. I know I'd be nodding in approval everywhere I looked. Your work is like a breath of fresh air. Beautiful!

I love the blue bottles. You just reminded me that I have some too. But I have not a clue where they are stashed. I blog in real time as I don't plan that far in advance in order to be automated. I'm a procrastinator. I think a lot of people go on vacation during the summer months or are spending time with their kids doing other things besides blogging. But I know I really appreciate the bloggers that do blog during the summer. Gives me something to do (since I don't have any little kiddies at home).

I'm here! I jus don't do the whole vignette thing. I need my space for piles of whole and fabric. Though might be tempted by the blue glass. …

I agree with you, very quiet at the moment (I always blog in real time). I think it's because it has been so hot lately and everyone in Northern Europe has been making the most of it! 🙂 I love blue glass, very Mediterranean.

I'm here too. Beautiful! I do very much like the cobalt blue I just have not figured out where in my house I could pull off that color blue. Our home is earth tones and I haven't been able to convince myself to step out of my comfort color zone yet. You give me inspiration to as the commercial says "just do it!"
