Apple Blossom Spring Decoration

More flowers today.

More Spring flowers. Loving this little apple blossom Spring Decoration with recent thrift store scored disco balls and all.

I find myself in need of flowers these days and I have decided that that is one indulgence I can allow myself. Much better than indulging in too much chocolate or bubbly wine, me thinks.

Life has been a bit hectic over here. That whole working five days in the office is not agreeing with me so well. Well in fact the working five days part is not so much the problem as is the fact that that only leaves me two days to get the rest of my life happening. If my weeks had simply extended to nine days, you wouldn’t hear me complaining (quite as much).

But adjusting to the new work responsibilities while also trying to keep up with the blog, the house, the family, starting the garden season (in my head only so far, but it is tumbling around in there), my good intentions for the new year and all my plans and projects that I want to work on, it all has been a bit much.

So I found myself waking up in the middle of the night and not falling back to sleep, or not falling asleep at all.

And let me tell you friends, a few too many two hour nights in a row turns this little Songbird in a very ugly, screaming, and grumpy crow real fast.

So I had to step back a bit. A step away from my to-do list, from the computer, from work even and concentrate on getting back to myself again.

And flower therapy has helped immensely. So expect quite a few more flower posts in the next days. I am still in need of therapy after all.

I’ve also gone pretty radical in my sleep therapy. Not quite there yet but things have improved a lot. When I have it all sorted I’ll let you in on my sleep secrets too.

For now let’s do a flower therapy group session….. 🙂
