Zara Home fashion. Collections Summer 2013
Hi there members of the flock. I couldn’t leave you over the weekend with only those ugly in-progress pictures of my hutch now could I. I really do think you all deserve better. So I have prepared a little eye-candy for you. Some home shopping, home decoration inspiration, eye candy.
Last week when we visited Bonn and there I had the chance to step into the world of Zara Home once more.
If you don’t know it . Zara is a Spanish clothing brand that is known for his hip, stylish, young and very affordable fashion style. In fact it is so young and hip that I hardly ever have any success there. As much as I try to deny it, I really can’t pull it off anymore…..
But they also have a home fashion line, and one never gets too old to be hip and stylish when it comes to home fashion.
So I was very happy to be able to browse their new collections. They were good, affordable and very much right onto trend.
I showed amazing constrained though and only took two items home. I’ll show them soon, when my home isn’t a total mess anymore due to-the-painting-of-the-hutch project.
Just feast your eyes on the images Zara Home stylists have prepared for you. There is something for everybody, I promiss…..
Like the fluor collection. Way too colorful and eclectic for my style. But I love the details in the images and the different wall treatments. Check it out (I know there are color lovers among you).
For sale here are the pillows, the vase-lampstand and the frames
Aren’t those butterflies that fly out of the branches on to the wall adorable. And I quite like those colorful wicker baskets too.
I think this caterpillar wall treatment is quite awesome too. Although it are the pillows and the china pieces that are for sale here.
Chevron is still in style!
These are all new collections. So of course there was a lot of summer. And summer means beach, sun and sand.
The beach collection combined clothes and accessories with small home items you take with you to the beach.
One day I am going to take the time and lay out my own clothes, accessories and home fashion items like that and make myself some ‘going to the beach’ collections. I think these images are such fun.
Loved the shells and coral too, but they were not for sale….
Speaking of summer and beach.
There also was a definite coral theme to be found.
The coral collection consisted mainly of some linens and lots of decorative and usable china.
I took these images in the shop. You see how beautifully they display things there too.
They have excellent stylists….
I thought this tea set with the coral theme was very nice. And that big bowl with lid was a seriously tempting conversation piece.
My personal favorite collection is the Hotel collection. Items to give you that five star feeling at home. Luxurious bed linens, big soft bath towels, nice fragrances and personal items (like super comfy bathrobes) that will make you feel like a celebrity in your own home.
I think the silver, pieces I caught before my camera in the shop fall under this category too.
How is them napkin rings for you…..
Look at that combination with rustic wood. We can all take a lesson here about using props and backdrops to let your projects shine.
It’s all in the details. The crisp contrast between the wood and the white and the suggestion of at-homeness with the toast and the coffee. I am craving breakfast just looking at it.
A pure, simple and crisp white table setting. What is there not to love.
Can I please take a nap here……
I hope you enjoyed my little trip into the world of Zara Home. I think they are quite a big international brand now. The only place I didn’t see show up on their international webpage was Australia. Poor ozzies in the lucky country, they have to go without Zara Home. But they have the beaches…..
I am ready for my weekend now and another round of wrestling with milk paint and my hutch. Both are conspiring against me, but I am adament I am going to be the victor in this battle.
Hope you have good plans for your weekend too.
Have a good one!
PS I am in no way affiliated with Zara Home. This is NOT a sponsored post. I just love their stuff and their website and I wanted to share it with you all.
Now if anybody from Zara Home is reading this…… Give me a call and we can work together 😉
