Hi! My name is Gina and I host a little blog called 3 Ring Cottage from deep in the heart of Texas. I want to thank Marianne for welcoming me to her blog to guest post while she is enjoying vacation. ~
I love a variety of decor styles; cottage, farmhouse, beach, vintage, etc. but lately I’ve been finding myself drawn to vintage industrial and have been incorporating those elements into my home.
An old white chipped up metal tool caddy is perfect on my coffee table.
I use it to hold magazines, keep pens or pencils handy along with a notepad. There is even a place for a remote if I had a television in this room.
An old wooden sugar mold holds my dad’s vintage jeweler tools.
He began as a jeweler over 55 years ago and always used the same tools.
A sugar mold is also great for holding paintbrushes, pencils, pens and scissors.
Old little boxes hold tiny treasures and are the perfect industrial accessory sitting on a side table or shelf.
Industrial drawers (these were used in my dad’s shop to hold jewelry findings) are perfect storage solutions.
I think my mantel best sums up my style…
There’s a little bit of everything here but it all works together.
If you get a chance, stop by and visit.
I’ll have some sweet iced tea waiting for you on the front porch.
