See, it was serendipity that that one fitted so perfectly inside my gimungous pinecone wreath. I finished the look of by adding some velvet poinsettia flowers to the mix.
I bought the poinsettia’s last year in the after-Christmas sale for a song. I stashed them somewhere and pretty much forgot about them. I was wondering around the house looking for something to add to my wreath twins when I found them. So happy I did….
Of course this centerpiece wasn’t all I did outside….
I decorated my white shelves too. And here the red and white creeps in again…
I used the Red and white fabric ornaments garland from two Christmasses ago, it has been hanging in my craft room ever since.
It glammed up those shelves immediately so the rest came easy.
Snow, pine cones and a few silver balls in the lantern.
Some lanterns, a vase with (fake) red berries, and my lovely woodsy heart. I am telling you, easy….
These vintage skates are the real deal. Can you believe that people actually used to tie these to their shoes and be able to skate on ice? I love how they look in these winter / Christmas display, they add just the right touch of vintage quirkiness.
So how about it? Do you decorate you garden terrace too? And are you sick of my red and white yet? I hope not, because I have just decided that it is my favorite color combo ever.

You're so funny…I do the same thing, wander around the house looking for some 'thing' I'm sure is gonna jump out at me and complete some vignette or other 🙂 Yet it almost always works! LOVE that centerpiece even though I hope to never see another pinecone after my daughter's wedding!
Lovely porch/terrace. Not doing anything to mine, not sure I could top my red and white from last year anyway 🙂

Fijne avond.
Lieve groet, Mea

I love all the red and white! The red and white garland is winter and bright for the dull gray days of winter. I would keep it up at least until Candlemas, if not Valentine's Day. I love decorating with red –anytime.
I haven't got much of an outdoor area of my own to decorate with my apartment.
