….. dear friends.
How are you all surviving winter? Hanging in there? I can’t wait for Spring to arrive, so I have very carefully started to bring a bit of Spring inside. More on that later, because today is that special day in the week where we get to enjoy the hard labour of other talented women who linked up at last weeks Vintage Inspiration Party.
But you four hosts haven’t exactly been lounging around all day either. We all did a little project that we would like you to check out:
Betsy @ My Salvaged Treasures — Vintage radio speaker
Becky @ Beyond the Picket Fence — Ombre paint technique
Angie @ Knick of Time — Wood scraps and photographs
Marianne @ Songbird — Pretty, organized drawer
And then there is the awesomeness of this week’s party! Looking at this weeks selections there is a definite D0 It Yourself and Repurpose vibe going on.
So let’s all take a moment in our busy lives and just sit back and enjoy the ride and take in this repurposed DIY projects inspiration……
At the Vintage Inspiration Party, your links will show up on 4 different blogs!
This is the place to share anything old, treasured, passed-down or tattered, but you can also share projects that were made to look old, including repurposed and upcycled creations.
On cold and dark winter days one can never have to many lamps in the house. I am loving this simple, tripod lamp from Sadie Seasongoods. What a find that vintage tripod! And what a clever way of repurposing it.
Book lovers avert your eyes….
The Darling Touch shared book chalkboards made out of old book covers. I don’t belong to the club of people who think that books are sacred and should never be repurposed, I love this idea!
A to have a spacious kitchen…..
You’ll love all the touches in this gorgeous kitchen makeover from Noting Grace.
Happy at Home shows us how to build a rustic crate. And look at that styling people! All those greys and all that texture. The image alone is worth hopping over there, but that crate seals the deal!
Some people find the best pieces of furniture to give a makeover! And then they have the perfect vision for its new looks like D.D.’s Cottage’s fabulous French inspired chest makeover.
If you were featured here today, feel free to show off this remarkable achievement 🙂
Now let’s get this party going.
If you want to join and link up your finds and vintage/ upcycled projects go right ahead. But take a moment to browse the rules first.
Link Party Guidelines
– You are welcome to share anything vintage or vintage inspired. This includes yard sale finds, repurposed and upcycled creations, family heirlooms, and even vintage or vintage inspired items you have for sale. If it’s been around awhile or just looks that way…share away!! No food links please.
– Pin away, but please be sure to pin directly from the original source, not from my blog.
– Be sure to have a visible link to Songbird (or the other party throwers) within your post (text link is fine) within your post.
– By linking up with the Vintage Inspiration Party you agree that your photos and links may be shared on Pinterest, Facebook, and other social media sites. You may be included in a round up to promote the party or individually with a link back to you. We love what you share and the extra exposure is a benefit to everyone.
