Seems like I am gonna make it. This 31 Days of blogging challenge is coming to an end. I guess that’s one more thing I got done while Getting Things Done!
I fully intend to keep the ball rolling and the projects coming. I have loved that feeling of accomplishment so much that I want to ride that high a bit longer.
I will slow down a bit though, because I couldn’t keep this up for a really long time.
My Fall break is over so tomorrow my job will need some of my time, energy and motivation too.
That’s why I spent this Sunday getting my act together, catch up and prepare for the next weeks.
I spent some time in my craft room digging through the mess and trying to make it look like this again:
I spent some time in the basement, putting all the paint supplies back in their proper spots, cleaning off the dump zones and trying to make it functional and workable again.
I did laundry, picked up after myself, sorted out the piles of paper and cheered my Love on while he was doing the floors, trying to make my house actually be as orderly and clean as it looks in this picture:
I went through my closet and made the big switch to winter clothes. Purging and cleaning as I went along, so that all my lovely new clothes have a proper home.
I guess I have put all my work stations in order, ready for the next round of projects and challenges.
Funny how that works when you clean and pick up, and sort and purge, and organize and order. Seeing the big table in my craft room empty makes me itch to start a new project, and looking at my work bench down under all organized and ready to be put to use, makes me want to mess it up with something new immediately.
I guess clutter kills creativity. Seeing a big mess, makes me want to run away and ignore it real hard. But free spaces to fill makes me want to start playing again.
So I guess there was no better way than to end this Getting Things Done! challenge than preparing my house, my craft and work zones for a next round of Getting Things Done!
Bring it on!
