Hello lovely ladies. It is that time of the week again. Time to paaaaarty! We are making changes behind the scenes and cooking up new things to make this party even better, both for you as a reader and for those who link up. So let us know if you are liking the new changes and what we could do to make this party even better.
Welcome back to the Vintage Inspiration Party!
This is the place to share anything old, treasured, passed-down or tattered, but you can also share projects that were made to look old, including repurposed and upcycled creations.
vin-tage (adj.) 1.) used to describe something that is not new but that is valued because of its good condition, attractive design, etc. 2.) used to describe something that has the best qualities or characteristics of the things made or done by a particular person, organization, etc.
At the Vintage Inspiration Party, your links will show up on 4 different blogs, giving you four times the exposure!
These beautiful four ladies are your hosts and guides in all things vintage and they have been busy this week too. Look at their favorite posts from last week.
Angie @ Knick of Time – Pallet Wood Bathtub Table
Marianne @ Songbird – Walking Trip Around Schaloen Castle
Becky @ Beyond the Picket Fence – Spring Mantel
Betsy @ My Salvaged Treasures – Jewelry in Progress
Brooke shares some lovely vignettes on her sideboard. These vintage bridal photos are the stars in the whole decor, and so they should. See the at: Creative Country Mom.
Beatrice is enjoying some unexpected good Spring weather and she used it to get her deck all ready for Spring. I love all the vintage containers, and repurposed items she used in every corner. Go take a look at the beautiful spring blooms from Beatrice Euphemie.
Sadie took her cue from PB and set out to create herself a very unique and genuinely vintage condiment set. Except she has more need for hot chocolate than for BBQ condiments at the moment. Great hack nonetheless. Go here: to see the card catalog drawer Potter Barn hack from Sadie Seasongoods.
Lucy had set her hard at some brocante enamel tags from the French flea markets. Alas those markets are out of her reach so she ventured into the DIY realm. And very successfully so. Check out her DIY faux enamel number tags tutorial from Patina Paradise
Denise loves to shop! And she has a great hand, I can tell. Look what she dug up this time. I am so jealous of the new/old industrial farmhouse table from Pink Postcard.
We are adding some new features to the VIP. If you are not so lucky to be able to DIY yourself a vintage treasure or the shopping is just not that good in your neck of the woods, there is always the internet. So we are going to show off some of our favorite vintage treasures we would like to buy right now.
This week’s featured shop is Hogg Barn Antiques
Isn’t that dish so beautiful. Love the photograph too. Salivating over here. Go check out the Etsy shop for more ‘ must have’ feelings.
We would also like to introduce you to some wonderful blogs that we have discovered and fell in love with. Hop on over and tell them this is where you found them.
This week’s featured blog is Prairie Charm.
If you were featured here today, feel free to show off this remarkable achievement 🙂
Now let’s get this party going.
If you want to join and link up your finds and vintage/ upcycled projects go right ahead. But take a moment to browse the rules first.
Link Party Guidelines
– You are welcome to share anything vintage or vintage inspired. This includes yard sale finds, repurposed and upcycled creations, family heirlooms, and even vintage or vintage inspired items you have for sale. If it’s been around awhile or just looks that way…share away!! No food links please.
– Pin away, but please be sure to pin directly from the original source, not from my blog.
– Be sure to have a visible link to Songbird (or the other party throwers) within your post (text link is fine) within your post.
– By linking up with the Vintage Inspiration Party you agree that your photos and links may be shared on Pinterest, Facebook, and other social media sites. You may be included in a round up to promote the party or individually with a link back to you. We love what you share and the extra exposure is a benefit to everyone.
