It is that time of the week again! Time to get inspired to go junking and thrifting and rummaging around in our stock pile of ‘things to use one day’. Welcome to this weeks edition of the Vintage Inspiration Party.
At the Vintage Inspiration Party, your links will show up on 4 different blogs!
My Salvaged Treasures
This is the place to share anything old, treasured, passed-down or tattered, but you can also share projects that were made to look old, including repurposed and upcycled creations.
vin-tage (adj.) 1.) used to describe something that is not new but that is valued because of its good condition, attractive design, etc. 2.) used to describe something that has the best qualities or characteristics of the things made or done by a particular person, organization, etc.
Last weeks linkup was a really good one! So many inspiring projects were shared. Angie at Knick of Time had the honor of selecting the features for this week and boy did she have her work cut out for her,
Let’s see who she put in the spotlight this week. :
Kim @ Too Much Time on My Hands made a charming and rustic sign from an old crate.
Creative Country Mom shared this beautiful burlap and lace table runner. I love the combination of rustic and elegant.
Anne @ Design Dreams by Anne modified some cube shelves.
Sadie Seasongoodsmade pretty peonies flowers from sewing patterns – love them!
I adore this pillow by Scavenger Chic She transferred vintage letters onto fabric to make it!
Also by Scavenger Chic, is this Farmer’s Market galvanized tin.
Shelly @ Shizzle Design turned an accidental disaster into a colorful, fun display for her business.
Cindy @ High Plains Knot Worksells adorable groupings of vintage toy blocks that are perfect for autumn decor.
If you were featured here today, feel free to show off this remarkable achievement 🙂
Ok, ladies, one more bit of exciting news to all junk lovers out there (before we get the link up started).
Now let’s get this party going.
If you want to join and link up your finds and vintage/ upcycled projects go right ahead. But take a moment to browse the rules first.
Link Party Guidelines
– You are welcome to share anything vintage or vintage inspired. This includes yard sale finds, repurposed and upcycled creations, family heirlooms, and even vintage or vintage inspired items you have for sale. If it’s been around awhile or just looks that way…share away!! No food links please.
– Pin away, but please be sure to pin directly from the original source, not from my blog.
– Be sure to have a visible link to Songbird (or the other party throwers) within your post (text link is fine) within your post.
– By linking up with the Vintage Inspiration Party you agree that your photos and links may be shared on Pinterest, Facebook, and other social media sites. You may be included in a round up to promote the party or individually with a link back to you. We love what you share and the extra exposure is a benefit to everyone.
Let’s get this party started!
